The dessert is delicious, especially the matcha financier — highly recommended! Drinks are great too. The ambience is cozy with pleasant music, and there are spots to charge your laptop, making it a comfortable place to work or relax.

One of the best cafes in JB! Their coffee is excellent, brewed with real skill!!! The Tie Guan Yin tea dessert is fragrant, smooth, and not too sweet — just perfect. Service here is also outstanding, warm and thoughtful. Truly won my heart!

Food, drinks, ambience and service are all really good! Pricing is reasonable as well for the food quality and presentations. Dirty latte is strong and good. Eggs benedict and the Salmon rice are delicious. Will recommend my friend to this cafe if anyone ask for JB cafe introduction

Cosy ambience like the branch taman melodies but I think more modern w a mezzanine seating area, besides some tables below The sugar molasses cake is excellent! And of course the dirty white never disappoints !!! Salmon ochazuke is well done too

The coffee is an excellent blend and a real pleasure. The food, however, is rather average and could do with a bit more variety. I would suggest raising the standard of the menu so that guests are encouraged to stay longer and return more often.

“A dab hand at good coffee and a nice touch in every detail.” Overall, a great experience—albeit on the pricier side. What really stood out was the depth of knowledge the proprietor or staff had about their coffee. It wasn’t just about serving a pour-over—it was clear there was thought and care behind the preparation. I appreciated being asked about my preferences, followed by a short but informative consultation before a recommended bean was selected. When served, they explained the tasting notes I could expect, and true enough, the brew delivered exactly that. A very pleasant touch that elevated the coffee experience. The food was equally solid. At this price point, you’d expect poached eggs to be done right—and they were. The “Boy Boy Breakfast” probably deserves a rename to Big Boy Breakfast—it’s much more filling than it first appears. The use of two thinner slices of sourdough instead of one thick one was a smart choice as sourdough crust can sometimes be tough especially on thicker slices. My wife’s Eggs Benedict came with a surprising level of acidity—more than the usual dash. Whether by design or luck, it worked. Given how heavy avocado, poached eggs, and hollandaise can be, the acidity helped cut through and balance the richness. Still a heavy dish overall, but more enjoyable than expected. If there is one thing to note. The seating is not the most comfy for a leisurely afternoon brunch. Corner seats were concrete and only covered with a thin fabric. Yes, we’ll definitely return—especially for the coffee.
